APC Volunteers Group National Mourn Mallam Abba Kyari
All Progressive Congress Volunteers group Nationwide (APC Volunteers) have expressed condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari and the family of the former Chief of Staff to the president, Abba Kyari, who was announced dead early Saturday after battling coronavirus complications.
In a statement signed by it's National Secretary, Alhaji Sanusi Ibrahim, Mr Kyari dealth was described as patriotic dealth, he died as a loyal and patriotic leader who wished nothing but progress and development for his dear country.
“The entire executives and member of APC volunteers nationwide extend deepest sympathy to the family of the departed chief of staff, the President and Nigerians.”
Mr Kyari was tested positive for corona virus on March 23 and was subsequently moved to a private medical facility in Lagos for treatment, where he died 17th April 2020.
His corpse arrived in Abuja Saturday morning for funeral rites.
Mr Kyari was interred at exactly 11.20am at the military cemetery in Abuja’s Gudu neighbourhood amidst tears from family members and supporters. (KoboGist)
