Nigerians reacted to viral picture of women carrying yam (Screenshots)

Currently a picture of women carrying yam is going viral on Facebook. According to information gathered by KOBOGIST, it was revealed that these women were given just a tuber of yam by  politicians as a COVID-19 palliative.

What provoke Nigerians who took to Facebook to express their dissatisfaction was the nature which the picture was taken. Giving just a tuber of yam to old women who have children and family at home and snapping them to show the act of one's kindness is really pathetic especially when such act is coming from politicians who claim to represent the people's interest.
